I am not sure I am ready to coronate him yet as “the greatest”. I would like to see him take Man C to a UCL final (I’m not even asking him to win it). He was not able to do that at Bayern and so far with Man City has also failed. I know he is chasing the EPL title but he does have a fully stacked team. He also had the lead in this game at a point when it was 4-2.
That match did worse than good for the two sides cos it showed that both sides lack quality in the defence, they can always concede a goal of that level or more under such pressure..i must say both sides midfield and defence department may be nothing to right home about the matches of such pressure

You mean double away goal rule don't count?
Away goal rule only comes into play in an aggregate tie. Spurs won the first leg at home 1-0. If the second leg final score was 5-3, Manchester would have been through to the semi final since the aggregate score would have been 5-4. Since Man C only had a 4-3 home win, they lost on the away goal rule since the final aggregate was 4-4.

Yes but Man C/Pep has the funds to build a solid back line ... obviously that is his weakness... hence Pep cannot be the “king of modern day coaches”.

If the match end 5-3, which team will qualify and also clarify for better understanding.
away goal is only brought into play when there's a tie in aggregate. when the two legs are added.. 5:3 man city will go through because counting on aggregate they'll be ahead

You right, but I don't want to believe Messi was the brain behind Pep's success. We have Xavi, Iniesta
Here we go again, you've forgotten so soon it was the msn era. Xavi was even close to retiring then but yes both xavi and iniesta played a part.

Now that both xavi and iniesta are no more, Barca is still on course to win the treble once again. The only constant factor in it all is Messi. Abeg no argue that thing again

Defeats will always come but it does not change the fact that Pep is one of the greatest coach if not the greatest, the Manchester city team only lack ucl experience just like psg
abeg cut it!
Pep is ridding on success of big stars he ALWAYS has in his team, after he left barca, barca won treble without him, he joined bayern at the time they were ucl defending champion yet he could not defend it or win it.
Did he achieve any special thing with bayern? No.
Spend over £500m with no tangible achievement, give half of that to Pochetino and see if he will not become world beater.

Tottenham is the only team in England that didn't buy any new player is the last two transfer windows.

This is why Pochetino is highly rated.
His ability to put up a good season even with limited resources and low budget is impeccable.

he did bought Lucas and Segie Aurier..

Time will tell.

A good team does become a bad team overnight because they crashed out of a competition
Next premier league match is also important for Spurs.

Men that was purely daylight robbery. Uefa no just want man city to reach there
which one be daylight robbery again?
aguero received the ball from an offside position!
That's why there is VAR!
If man city, last week, had taken care of the opportunity VAR presented to them in form of a pen which aguero squandered, we won't be talking about daylight robbery!

Pochettino at Spurs...

- 3 top 4 places in a row

- Spent no money in the last year

- Had to deal with moving stadiums

And now he's got them into a Champions League semi-final!

Build that man a statue.
