As people who have been to school there are things we can't say. If he had said the Senate can never get a 2/3 majority to override the president then it's a valid statement. Apparently you're not a government student. If the president reject a bill. It will be taken to the house to be reconsidered and once they get a 2/3 of the Senate for assent. It will be signed and be made a law. Without the executive

Just asking....since when did the Senate have power to overide veto? Maybe i read the consitution wrong. The House of Rep has overide on bills returned unsigned by the President.
