In less than 24hours that Sudanese President, Omar Al-Bashir was ousted by the country’s military, PDP chieftain and a staunch critic of the Buhari administration, Fani-Kayode is hoping same fate would befall Nigeria’s President.

The former Minister of Aviation Thursday called on the Nigerian youth to remove President Muhammadu Buhari saying they also need to pitch in, in the struggle against tyranny.

“If you really want freedom you must be ready to risk all by openly opposing tyranny and evil, protesting in the streets and fighting for it. Anything short of that will result in failure and prolonged servitude and slavery, he said.

Adding, “Some of us have paid our dues and have fought hard against Buhari over the last four years. We have suffered all manner of hardship and persecution for it. It is time for others to do their bit.”

President Al-Bashir was overthrown by the military after 30 years since he took power through a military coup and has continued to lead the East African country even after transitioning to democracy.

A 22-year-old woman named Alaa Salah led the revolution that removed the ex-president.
