Get a bill going sir. Make this bill simple delete the sections that centralize police. Allow any tear of government to form police departments. Its not like decentralizing police means NPF go away. The state governors already gave their support. Im sure state assemblies dont care. Buhari doesn't want state police but I dont think that matters. I dont think presidential assent is necessary for constitutional amendments. The bills already get 2/3 votes from both houses. Then 50% of state assemblies in nation have to 2/3 in favor. Btw why are secruity votes handed out to states and local governments if they dont have police force. Security votes need to be eliminated. Budget that money towards the Navy and airforce. Let states figure out funding. |
