Re: Police To Employ Technology To Replace Use Of Weapons - Acting IGP by iukpe: 6:25pm On Apr 15, 2019
Better replace the guns robbers carry first of all. The arrival of AK47 rifles came as a need to match the daring firepower of criminals over the security agents.
The problem is the training the police get on their job. Psychology and values matter.
Most police offices don't see themselves as servants of the public.
Teasers, body cams, tranquilizers are methods for subduing unarmed or even fleeing armed criminals. The choice of which weapon to apply in any situation and how not to be quickly drawn into conflict is the technique to learn.

a lot. Body cameras can mean that police officers wont use their weapons anyhow.

Tasers can mean that instead of weapon...u can demobile the person with shocks

Batons can mean that u can hit an unarmed person without firing

Rubber bullets can be used to disperse large crowds without killing many people

Helicopters can help police properly access a hostile area without just barging with guns and shooting

The push and start weapons they are using, they were having difficulty in equipping their amoury How can they handle an upgraded weapon?
Re: Police To Employ Technology To Replace Use Of Weapons - Acting IGP by iruoghene7(m): 6:43pm On Apr 15, 2019
They can hardly equip their archaic amoury, how can they handle upgraded versions of such weapons.
Imagine police using LASER GUNS and weapon detectors, trackers to chase innocent citizens.
