@Mwanamwiwa
Ypu are doing a great job, not to mention the time and effort it takes. Hon Balala should honor you for doing a better job supplementing Kenya's tourist marketing. Now as you rendezvous around Kijabe and the RVA again, you may want to take a picture of the small chapel at the foot of the escarpment. It i small yes but resonates with lots of history since it was built by Italian prisoners of war under duress. It would continue the thread of the war monuments that peeped through the thick foliage of Nairobi photos few postings back.

You may also consider (now that there seems to be a historical streak standing out with Lamu) getting picture of the Lord Delamare, Joy Adamson's and Egerton's legacies dotting Naivasha and Nakuru areas. At your convenience of course.

Thanks naliakar.Balala should listen to you. winkI will find the chapel and more when I post the next batch of Rift valley province.For you(I ll get better pics later)

Egerton Castle is a splendid architectural masterpiece that British nobleman Lord Maurice Egerton of Tatton built between 1930 and 1940 and still stands conspicuously like a pendant in the beautiful countryside, a dozen kilometres from Nakuru town. The stately castle where Lord Egerton retreated in the final days of his life has 52 rooms, unfortified by moat or garrison.

But there is no doubt, according to Lord Egerton's carpenter Robert Rang'oma, that almost all the rooms had once been furnished to befit a king.

His crib in Tatton,Cheshire.(Its a shame he died childless and was the last of the Egerton family.)
