Daniel Amokachi scored the first ever Champions League goal within 17 minutes of the game between Brugge and CSKA Moscow in 1992.

Is that not exactly what I said? The Champions League started in 1992 and Amokachi scored the first goal. What we had before 1992 was the European Cup.

I was listening to BBC Fast Track on a Monday night in 1993 and Jenny Horrocks was interviewing Amokachi and she asked him how it felt when he scored the first ever goal in the Champions League. I was like, "What?"

I did my investigation and it's true and they have mentioned it in virtually every interview that Amokachi has given. The commentator of this match has mentioned it several times.
