Omotola Jalade has replied Nigeria's Presidency, after it debunked her comment of Nigeria is hellish under Buhari and Osinbajo and further insinuated that she is not working for clean money. Recall that Bashir Ahmed, a media aide to the President who replied Omotola on behalf of the Presidency, debunked claims that Nigeria is hellish under Buhari. He tweeted in response; Madam Omotola those who are working for CLEAN money are not complaining and will never refer our dear country as ‘hellish’. In Kano State alone, from 2015 to 2018, no fewer than 200 medium and small scale rice milling centres emerged. For that, billions circulated among millions. Omotola Jalade who fired back at the Presidency after it debunked her comment of 'Nigeria is hellish under Buhari', stated that as long as their tweet never insinuated she is not working clean for her money, she is cool with them. It wrong to believe that government should make money circulate by engaging in reckless spending as in the past. The truth is that our economy can only grow when local production and entrepreneurship are encouraged. In other climes, banks conscientiously work to build customer base and develop the economy by providing funds and expert guidance to micro/small scale businesses as well as entrepreneurs with good ideas. Here in Nigeria, banks are on high horses servicing mainly importers, politicians and big companies. In other climes, there are thousands of NGOs set up by wealthy people and big corporations to help people with excellent business ideas and poorly-funded going concerns. They organize business plan competitions to encourage entrepreneurship. Oga OO Can something good better than rice ever come out of this country?  The bashir Ahmed was even proud of their greatest achievement “rice achievement”, the greatest achievement of presidency in 4 years  The most annoying thing is that Thailand that produce rice with less impurity for billions of people don't boast of that as their greatest achievement. This is the worst form of Government Nigeria ever heard if this is all they could achieve, they should work towards producing more beans and yam in their second term please The worst thing is that We even buy the much more glorified rice at exhorbitant price This man just confirmed that billions get circulated in the north only yet north is still the poverty capital of the country Watch people call me Igbo and say Buhari is trying to diversify the economy I wonder if the rice they produced are meant for all of us or Kano citizens alone. Please Buhari stop wasting our "National Budget" on Kano Rice Production that we only hear of on internet that is not circulating in General market. We are bigger than that as a country !! To a reasonable extent, everyone is greedy and somewhat self centered in Nigeria. Omotola's voice is so loud today because 'money is not in circulation' like it used to. In other words, she is affected and has definitely taken upon herself the mantle of the lone voice in the wilderness. The presidency, on the other hand, has ready made answers and invisible projects cum achievements to show for its many works. Terrorism has leaked and is no longer restricted to the North but to other parts of the country. We seem to be getting more reports of police/uniformed men casualties more than ever and the number one man is mostly concerned about blocking his leaking scrotal sac in the UK. The PDP, on the other hand, are only interested at taking over and sharing the commonwealth of the people. At this point, all the country needs at this point is an aggressive revolution; one that would see these old men uprooted, irrespective of their political ideologies and religion. What's the local content ratio of any particular sector of the economy that is encouraging in the past 4yrs? Peugeot, Ford etc were success stories of deliberate economic policies of their home governments. Can same be said of any Nigerian auto brand? Please my friend, the bulk stops at the governments table. Especially the APC government. During the PDP years, there was a deliberate effort in making the government smaller and encouraging businesses but the APC has made every effort to make the government bigger and stifle private businesses. Let's be real. The only way to build Nigeria's economy is to end all the vodoo economics going on. From the stock market where company prices make large movement without any solid reason, to the magical fuel subsidy, to finance houses that pretend to be banks, our economy is in trouble. All secured by apparent pretenders that are dressed in the garb of security men. The day we restart a culture of lending based on realistic interest rates and ensuring to adequately service facilities taken is the day this country will move economically.
