ISIOKOLO – THE four travellers who were kidnapped last week Wednesday at Okurekpo community in Ethiope East local government area of Delta State, have regained their freedom after their family members paid N700, 000 as ransom to facilitate their release.

The travellers; Ogujove Blessing, Ejiro Solomon, Akpos Thomas and Edijana Okro, were abducted along Okurekpo community road after they stopped to change a flat tire in the car they were travelling on from Okpara Waterside to Okpara Inland when the hoodlums struck and whisked them to an unknown destination.

The car, a green Jetta with registration number, UGH 241 EY, had been abandoned at the scene of the incident before it was taken to the Isiokolo Police Division. Confirming the release of the victims, a security source in the area, said the victims had been whisked to a forest in Okurekpo community where they were held and subsequently released after the ransom was paid.
