The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has revealed that as against the news flying around, none of the results of the ongoing 2019 University Tertiary and Matriculation Examination, UTME, have been released. This information was made known by the JAMB’s Head of Media and Publicity, Fabian Benjamin, while speaking to newsmen on Tuesday in Bwari.


According to the Head of Media,JAMB is still in the process of screening the results due to the fact that a lot of fraudulent activities were discovered during the examination.


He also stated that the issues discovered include multiple registrations, impersonations, etc. As a result of these, the board taking necessary steps to fish out the perpetrators of such fraudulent activities. He however gave hope and expectations to the candidates as he told them to expect their results very soo.

As regards the progress of the conduct of the UTME so far, Dr Fabian the assured that the process of the examination has so far been successful, adding that the board was addressing some of the challenges that came up during the exercise.

He also said that the board was still investigating those who were unable to be verified through its biometric process and would come out with a stand on the matter soon.
