I just laughed at the sheer ignorance, if care is not taken those with higher qualification that went for lower cadre might never get the opportunity to upgrade till they retire. Many don't know that it is not as easy as many people portray, it's even easier to go to the officer cadre through main route than via lower cadre.

It's best you finds something to do, don't put all your hope on this Customs jobs because the outcome might shatter you, they can only recruit 3200 out of the over 150k that sat for the exams.
Keep yourselves busy and the hullabaloo surrounding the time the list will come out will be of little or no significance.
