AFRICA U17 CUP OF NATIONS

Manu Garba's boys became the first African country to qualify for the 2019 Fifa U17 World Cup after their second straight win in Dar es Salaam
Fans across the country have dropped congratulatory messages for the Golden Eaglets after defeating Angola 1-0 in their second Group A fixture that booked their place in the semi-final of the Africa U17 Cup of Nations.
Olusegun Olakunle's effort from the penalty spot in the first half separated both teams at the National Stadium and sent the five-time world champions to the global showpiece in Brazil later this year.
The qualification comes as a relief for Nigerians after the country missed out on the 2017 U17 World Cup in India.
