nah, I read a lot , I read Cruyff's book , and I watched some of his videos where he analysed some sh*t . The dude was a genius , the way he talks , and addresses stuff . Barcelona were lucky , he had lots of problems with his coach then rinus , rinus was also a genius . Cruyff learnt a lot from him , but Cruyff perfected total football in Barca . That was where modern football began .

Modern football began with the Ajax and the Dutch national team of Cruyff and latter
Van basten era

Real Madrid of the late 90's/early 2000 (Redondo, Raul etc) played a sweet version of the total football far more sublime and entertaining than what Baca currently players
The Baca team of 95 (Romario, coman etc) were popular cause of the star studded squared not cause of their style of play

Baca were never known for the passing game until recently
What Baca plays is a Spanish revision of that total football style called tiki taka
I first saw this style played by some Spanish teams in early 2000's eg: alavas of the 2001 Uefa cup, Valencia (Mendietta etc)

It evolved within the Spanish league, not Baca's invention

Everyone wanted to play like them , and Cruyff brought modern football , but dude what you said is really really really wrong , Madrid of the 90s , lwkmd , Madrid of the 90s were shit , Barca were the best team in Spain by far from 1989-1995 , that was when Cruyff was in charge and total football started then , modern football doesn't necessarily mean tikitaka . Barca have always played beautiful football , rondon ( what we Nigerians call center football) was invented in fc Barcelona by one of the youth team's coach then . I seriously don't get why u would say Madrid played total football , Madrid have never been known to play exhilarating football even by their fans . It even seems u don't know anything about Barca , u should read and watch videos about the dream team of the 90s ,pep,bakero,koeman,laudraup,stoickov etc

I totally disagree with this.
Cruyff was the captain of the Ajax team that won the European cup three times in the seventies. When he became the coach of Barcelona,he went back to take the Ajax blueprint and imposed it on a floundering Barcelona team. Even Guardiola who is a disciple of Cruyff system of play can never deny the influence of the Ajax on the way he sets up his team's to play.
I repeat,whatever system Barca are playing today is based on the Ajax/Dutch total football system from the 1970's.
However I admit you are entitled to your opinion.

okay boss , Cruyff was the author of the book though . MY TURN: Q LIFE OF TOTAL FOOTBALL . Tbh what u know about Barca is totally wrong though , the dream were so popular then and they dominated Spain from 1990-1994 and won the UCL in 1993 and were probably the best team in the world then .
