Stop talking Nonsense

Akwa Ibom and their mischievous accusation of witchcraft. It is very unfortunate that whenever a child behaves abnormal, they take that for witchcraft. No child is born a witch. And our brothers from Akwa Ibom should know that the following character traits from parents makes their wards look so:

1. Lack of parental care from the beginning and to a certain stage in the live of the child; such a child usually end up in the street as a tout, which give room for name calling such as: ''Ifot'', ''ndito innoh'' and ''skolombo'' among others which are common names in Ibibio, used to describe thieves, witches and wizards, etcetera.

2. Long years of untreated infections from parents before giving birth to their wards; this is especially true as it tampers with the psychological well-being of a child, thereby making the child portray strange characters overtime.

The problem begins with the parents who are not doing anything to addressing the problem from the medical point of view.

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command on Wednesday paraded 16 suspected criminals, including a man, Essien Okon, who allegedly killed his 12-year-old son, Joseph.

Essien and his wife, Peace, allegedly prepared a poisonous concoction with a certain seed called asene and forced the boy to drink it.

It was learnt that they took the victim to a swamp where he was buried.

This is not fair at all,what could make a man kill his own son,what a wicked soul. May you reap the full consequences of your action.
