I want to know more about the JAMB/UME marking scheme. I heard they deduct marks for any wrongly selected option. |

They do not deduct marks for answers that are incorrect but different questions have varied marks allocated to them based on their difficulty for example 'question 2' may worth 3 marks while 'question 5' may worth only 1 mark Hope that answers your question. |

Infact, there is negative marking in JAMB. How can you explain odd score like 55, 57, 59 etc in Chemistry, Physics and others with 50 questions that carried equal mark (2Mks each). Shaded wrong answers is more than (-/2/Mks) magnitudewise while correctly shaded option ensures you 2Mks. I strongly advise if you don't know the answer leave it unshaded provided there are no too many of such. Wishing you the very best. |

Every subject has a different marking scheme. However, I think you should focus on your revision, read the questions carefully (they tend to tell you how many marks are awarded) and concentrate on answering them correctly. Most people who do not do well tend to have omitted revision and reading the questions properly. |

mehn, my guy i wish u d very best o, i respect dose peeps dat av enterd nd cum out successfully, i left naija b4 i got 2 write dat exam, its not easy, if u can pass dat exam alone, wivout cheating or whateva, 4get it, u r good, such a shame dat nigeria is in such a state |
