Because all of you our leaders are confused and have nothing upstairs to turn around the economy of the nation.
Oyinbo came to Nigeria exploring oil, give us cash and you guys can not utilise the money properly, but only to share the money and spend it in Dubai, UK etc for stupid things.
Shame on all of you handling this hopeless nation to the next generation.

A senator of the federal republic saying ‘how did the colonial master built’.
How do we expect our children to pass Jamb and Waec if role models make this simple mistake?

thought I was the only one that saw the blunder. that's quite shameful, never expected such from a top man like Sani.

Dumbass.

How many civil servants did government have to pay?

Attention seeker.

On February 11th 2019, I applied for an International passport at the immigrations office at Festac town, Lagos and was made to pay a total of 41k instead of the government's official 17k which no one seems to have heard of at the immigration office. Till today I have not got that passport despite paying an extra 5k to facilitate its processing.

Know why?

According to my contact, the government has not imported the passport booklets. In other words, no one is doing their jobs in Government offices despite being paid.

So to answer your question "How many civil servants did government have to pay?"

The government will pay and keep paying as many civil servants as it takes to keep your country perfectly useless while people like you think it is working.

Oh, by the way, Zamabia has joined the likes of Cameroon, Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya and even Angola in having a stable power supply while Nigeria is still paying civil servants to give 2hrs light each day.

Hail the Giant of Africa!!!!

Shehu Sani, use your head. Which ''all corners'' of the country did your ''colonial master'' build railways? For your information, the colonialists ONLY built north to south lines for the SOLE PURPOSE of evacuating our resources for export at the southern ports, which was the looting enterprise they were engaged in here.

Why would they need a loan to build them when they'd been looting your country for donkey years? Selling our exports and keeping the money in Britain.

So instead of IDOLIZING those ''colonial masters'', you, a so-called senator, should know better. That they were here to loot (which, afterall, is the raison detre for colonisation), and ought not be used as a barometer for anything positive in this country.

you guys keeping saying looting as if looting is not happening in greater proportions nowadays. Every government that comes tries to undo its predecessor in looting the country if not how do we explain dragging the country in huge debt from 11.5trillion in 2015 to 24.9 trillion in 2019 without an significant achievements.

To DEVELOPE Nigeria, you need money. Without money and with exploding population, Nigeria stands no chance to arrest the decline of social order. Without roads, infrastructure, railway, power, Nigerians cannot have good jobs and low inflation. That leads to joblessness and increase in crime rate. Our youth needs to be gainfully employed or they become a devils workshop.

Forget it, it's either we arrest this now or will leave to regret it. Whether it is loan or any other way, we have massive infrastructure deficit and must close the gap before it's too late
it is almost late,Nigeria is not even making efforts to keep up and we in 2019 struggling.

The dry ports in the north was never feasible. They just wanted to form activity.

When the railways were built, they faced little or no competition from cars, buses, trucks etc. So, must have had heavy patronage as there were no viable alternatives.

The difference today is that with buses and trucks, railways face brutal competition.

Sham Intergrity but just got a renewal of his office by the voting public.

Funny, Sheu's constituency consider him a fake who rode on the wings of the very person he loves to malign.

Sheu is a phoney.

What bill did he sponsor as a senator or isn't that his remit?

Is he not a lawmaker?

Quite unfortunate that you know so much about negative things on the man & yet your data couldn't be used to do simple search of bills and motions he sponsored as a law maker.

Our fore fathers and the British were able to build rail lines connecting Nigeria because we harnessed our resources and everyone got to work. They never depended on foreign loan or manpower abroad to erect this structures.we have iron ore,we have Ajaokuta steel mill, we have the manpower but we refuse to have sense.

Shehu Sani should retire peacefully. He has only been a senator for 4 years n made a mess of it.At least he came out richer so he should have no money issues.

What did he say?

People voted Sani to be a law maker not a Twitter hugger.

What bills did he sponsor?

I've never seen people as daft as he and Bruce.

Twitter is for the public, the floor of the national assembly is for lawmakers.

What projects has he attracted to his constituency?

What has he been able to achieve with his constituency funds?

Sani is a failed lawmaker.

There have been many before him and he has just gone their way.

No legacy.

"how did our colonial masters built..."

Your preceding transitive verb is already in its past tense, did, so built should be in present tense, build..."how did our colonial masters build..." Is correct.

Our senators are just assholes, from this pompous idiot to Mr Common Sense who wants to ban gasoline cars in favor of electric vehicles in a country without electricity, to the deputy senate president who shot the idea down for the lame excuse that we sell crude oil...

Is he submitting the tweets to the WAEC body? Anyone can make mistakes. He made constructive and meaningful statements in my opinion. That he made a spelling mistake on a single word out of many didn't make him a subject of ridicule. You are bound to make mistakes yourself, except you're an angel.

People elected into public places as leaders should he seen to be above board. If he can't get simple tenses right, which is an evidence of lack of attention to detail, how do you expect him to deliver on his duties?

The US media and public criticize Trump for his typos and grammatical blunders.

Now tell me the last time Obama, Macron, Trudeau, May etc made such childish errors.

Now Shehu Sanni and PDP are paranoid because they were defeated by APC in the general election. Otherwise even the blind knows that our railway system is massively being rejuvenated unprecedented in Nigeria history...

Are you so daft not to know the difference between a president and a legislator?

What can a legislator do without a president?

Have you not been in this Nigeria to witness close to 40 bills which the legislators toiled so hard to pass but the president rejected them?

Are you so daft not to know the difference between a legislator and a president?

What can a president do without a legislator?

Have you not been in this Nigeria to witness how the Executive, through the various MDAs toiled so hard to present budget proposals (including the one Fashola complained about) which the legislators 'padded?' What about the nominations that the legislators rejected?
Now, concerning the bills "which the legislators toiled so hard to pass," are you not aware that some (professional) bodies had commended the President for rejecting some of them?

Does the Federal Government of Nigeria start and end with the President?
