Justin Bieber who is believed to a Canadian singer who found a place in the American music industry, has revealed he is ‘60% Irish’. Justin Bieber revealed he is ‘60% Irish’ while promoting Conor McGregor’s whiskey brand Proper No. Twelve.

Sharing a photo of his dad Jeremy Bieber holding a bottle of the infamous whiskey, Justin then gave a “shout out” to Ireland.“Just found out I’m like 60 percent Irish,” he wrote on his stories. "Shout out Ireland,” he added. He didn't explain how he discovered this information, whether it was a genetics website or directly from his father.

Bieber previously claimed to have Aboriginal heritage, in a remark which sparked backlash in Canada. 'I’m actually part Indian,' he told Rolling Stone in 2012, 'I think Inuit or something? I’m enough per cent that in Canada I can get free gas.' 

Born in Ontario, Canada, his parents Jeremy and Pattie split when he was young.  His mother is of French-Canadian descent; his paternal great-grandfather was of German ancestry.
