Hello fellow nairalanders,
I stumbled upon a thread created by driggs on Why Nigerians Do Not Deserve Financial Help From Fellow Nigerians.

Honestly, I couldn't help but feel the pain of the victim and that's because a friend of mine suffered the same fate of recent, I knew how down he felt just because he decided to be kind a fellow Nigerian that asked for help online. My friend helped him and then he blocked my friend when it was time to pay back.
Things like this will indeed make the few remaining kind hearted Nigerians to be heartless. It's so sad that a lot of Nigerians are wired this way, if things like this are happening then don't get mad if people refuse to help you when you are in need.

Indeed Nigerians are low-key wicked!

Someone helped you doesn't mean the person is stupid

It doesn't mean the person doesn't have problems in his/her life too.
