If a North Korean citizen commits a crime, their whole family could face punishment. This includes father, mother and siblings. They would serve same jail terms as the person that committed the crime. This makes the reclusive North Korea one of the least crime free states in the world.

Nigeria is a society where wealth is worshiped without caring where and how such wealth is made. This inadvertently pushes youth into crimes. We understand poverty, economic deprivation and the failure of government is the cause of high crime rate in Nigeria. The crime rate in the country is alarming and the rate at which youth take to crime, especially internet fraud, is a serious cause for concern. We have a very bad image abroad due to this.

Would you support such type of law in Nigeria especially if it would also make parents to sit up and train their kids properly and frown at illicit acquisition of wealth, knowing they would also be jailed when their children are caught?

I won't shout Tyranny as far as it can curtail crime. As for prison congestion, the Federal Government should hands off building and management of prisons. They should hand them over to states and each state can build and maintain more prisons.

Assuming Your Brother Is In Sokoto State, You Are From Rivers State, Your Brother In Sokoto Commits Rape And Was Arrested, Police Travelled All The Way From Sokoto To Rivers Arrested Your Parents, Then Travel To Enugu And Arrest You In Your Airconditioned Office, You Gentlely And Quietly Follow Them To Sokoto Prison To Answer For Your Brother's Rape? Bros I Doubt You.

Worth experimenting for at least 10 years as long as the immunity clause of some citizens would be waived.

The person that committed the crime and landed the family in prison will sure chop general beating by his family members in prison.

You mean Nigeria youths are the bad eggs?
You mean they’ve given our country bad images abroad?
What about our politicians?
They’re trying to make the nation great, right?
If you don’t know what to say it’s better you stay offline for some days!
