i really wanted to keep this sunday arguement or insult free but you ignorant people forced my hands

section 145 of the constituition says the president only needs to transmit power to Acting president only if he sees it fit that he cant perform his role as a president by not been able to discharge the duty of his office and he claims he would discharge his duty for the 10 days from london, just like a working visit to other countries.

Section 145 of the 1999 Constitution says: “Whenever the president transmits to the president of the Senate and the speaker of the House of Representatives a written declaration that he is proceeding on vacation or that he is otherwise unable to discharge the functions of his office, until he transmits to them a written declaration to the contrary, such functions shall be discharged by the vice-president as acting president.”

Nigeria's Presidency has stated that President Buhari can rule from anywhere in the world, two days after he embarked on a 10-day private visit to the United Kingdom.The Presidency who on Saturday, April 27, 2019, said that President Buhari can rule from anywhere in the world, added that he did not need to inform the National Assembly, so long as his absence was for a short period. It further stated that the president while in the UK could exercise his authority, since his absence would only last for 10 days and not up to 21 days.

Reacting to an inquiry by Punch on Buhari’s visit to the UK, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Garba Shehu who defended his principal said; "Section 145 (1)(2) of the 1999 Constitution saying “ This is a relatively short absence. If you check Section 145 (1) and (2) of the Constitution, you will see that the law is only infringed upon when such absence extends to 21 days.”
