The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Monday said that it was yet to release results of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).


JAMB’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dr Fabian Benjamin in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja said that the results would be officially released “anytime” within the week.

This, he explained was because candidates would expect the results from the first two days of the week but might be disappointed as the board has yet to conclude the process of the exercise.


Benjamin said, “We will not release it today, Monday and will not release it tomorrow, Tuesday.

“What we said was anytime within this week. By implication, we are concluding the screening exercise this week and results can be released anytime within the week.”

@lalasticlala, don't you think this jamb failure to release the result of computer based test for 3 weeks is a big disgrace to technology? At this junction, it will be impossible for me to blame any candidate that fails the exam, I will blame jamb

Paper based exam don't take up to this when we are still far far back from civilisation.

This is very bad in a country we have brains and right minds of people. People like me can conduct such an examination and within 2 minutes your results will be out. so this jamb of a thing failing and delaying the process is a sign that incompetent hands are handling high tasks which they are not capable of breaking through.
