Shameless govt. How can a govt be over power by bandits, a minute internal agreessors dat constant surveillance can deal with. Rather, dey opt for multi billion dollar expenditure of buying coaches for only Kad abj. Who will protect other vulnerable areas? None.
If this bandits are igbos, or yoruba, they would ve long been obliterated. God will judge this government except God doesn't exit

Current population of Nigeria is put at 201 million!

So, should we start celebrating that a country with more than Six Trillion Naira in tax income is ready to receive 10 coaches?

If one coach takes 20 people, that means we now have additional capacity for 200 people.

When are we going to reach 200 million?

Good step, but I think it is NOTHING to trump your chest about.

Do something how?

Government has been recruiting and giving contracts.

Naira has been stable for 3 years, infrastructure is improving.

So what aspect of the economy has government not assisted?

People should continue complaining up and down.

If you project gloom in your bedroom, when you come to town, all you would experience is gloom.

Many people were happy to jump on the "Nigeria in recession" bandwagon just because of 2015 elections.

Did it affect Buhari or the average person crying day and night about it?

4 year's of Buhari is better than 16 year's of PDP.

Keep quiet.

In 2013, I took a GEJ's air-conditioned train from Enugu to Port Harcourt.

Even though we know that the GEJ administration was corrupt, Buhari has yet to match his achievements.

I am particularly worried that Buhari is plunging this country into a huge debt that our future children will pay through taxes.

Something is wrong with those who think this a good move. We are the reason why we lack any significant progress because the FG ... whichever one is in power.... knows that we be like those fish that see the bait and never the hook...just swallow whatever looks good at first sight. How do such people see this report? They see railway. 64 coaches and that's enough to say we are moving forward...good development. What is bad about this contract?

The reason for the railway is to reduce road congestion caused by bandits. Really?...I guess this is thinking outside the box....brilliant!

You have a contract for X number of coaches to be delivered by X date and they are not. Now here you are going to the plant begging and pleading and declaring there is nothing you can do but wait until the contractor delivers.....although a substantial amount of money was paid. They are swallowing our money...but ...it is a good move...progress.

Why would Nigeria need a coach factory? .... but we also see this as a great development.
What we should be hearing is the cost of the entire project.... and if we could've got better for less from more established companies in the West.

I can just imagine how the Chinese are laughing at how stupid we can be.... a d we wonder why they treat us the way they do..... in our own country.

Every success you celebrate today was initiated in that 16 years of PDP. Apart from the Lagos – Ibadan standard gauge which was started by this administration (though signed by Jonathan), every other rail and airport project which have been commissioned by Buhari were all started between 2011 and 2015.

See fine Prototype. You will see what they will deliver grin grin grin grin grin

The minister is doing good. If the trains are delivered, it will go a long way to improve our railway transportation. It will help to fight corruption in the rail stations. If you see how passengers struggle to get Abuja Kaduna Train ticket, https://www.sagetravels.com/how-passengers-struggle-to-buy-abuja-kaduna-train-ticket/ you will know there is need to add more coaches. If there are many coaches, passengers will not struggle to get ticket also, no one will pay anybody to keep ticket for them. Ticket racketing will not only reduce, it will stop. Abuja To kaduna road is now a dead trap. travellers prefer the rail. I have used it, it is safer and secured.

Someone shared his experience on Lagos - Kano train, you can read it here https://www.sagetravels.com/lagos-kano-train-new-schedule-price-and-experience/ It was horrible. He spent more than 33 hours on the trip. according to the time table, the train departs on Friday morning and arrives Kano on Saturday Evening. Though the cost is affordable but there is need to have a speed train in that route. 33 hours is a long ride.

Chief. we have seen d prototype. The proto is for the glam. just for pix things.

what they will deliver is Locomotives. Recall this statement when they deliver the couches.

I am not there but with past experiences they will pay for Locomotives coaches and display modern one for the glam so that we can praise them for working for us.

Why is the coach factory a bad idea? If you are going to be moving containers from the ports, if you are going to transport iron ore, coal or some other minerals from the mines to the factory, move petroleum products or some other heavy materials from point A to point B how do you think you can do it by rail?
If we can make the wagons in Nigeria why not do it? Ajaokuta is there just wasting away while millions are jobless and we still have to import things that could be produced in Nigeria.
We don't have to criticize everything just for criticism sake.

Come to Mma airport and see begging. From the custom officer to the taxi driver. Where are the jobs? Ordinary bank tellers are on contract if they find work. Ordinary school graduates have been turned to uber drivers or yahoo if they are lucky. Even teaching jobs are very hard to get. Buhari came to lagos to comission an half complete project and i call a waste of time and resources. Booze have become a favorite for young men to escape depression. Many are destitute and are desperate to leave naija. Please I just pray that God will touch the hearts of the cabal to have sense because they don't know how to run a country. For the economy to pick , electricity must improve mandatory.

Can't you see you have no point?

This sense of entitlement is absolutely laughable.

What jobs are you looking for?

You want government to create Google or Apple just like the American government did... oh wait.

If you cannot create you must accept whatever you find.

Abroad people work in coffee shops even people with degrees .

If you talk about corruption, don't worry, Jesus himself would come down to micro-manage that corrupt lecturer or civil servant.

He's coming soon.
