Ibuji community in Ifedore council area of Ondo state has commended Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for the construction of 8.1 kilometers asphalt overlay Igbaraoke Ibuji /Ekiti state boundary road.

They gave the commendation during an inspection tour of the project by the speaker Ondo Assembly, Bamidele Oleyelogun.

Oleyelogun who said Governor Akeredolu is committed to all his electoral promises, noted that the present administration will continue to provide more masses oriented projects for the populace.

The speaker sought the continued cooperation and support of the Ifedore people for the present administration in achieving more success stories across the state.

Some residents of the community who could not hide their joy over the timely completion of the road by the administration however thanked governor akeredolu for fulfilling his electoral promises to the people of the area.

Bearing her minds on the impact of the road, a trader, Mrs Ganiyat Busari said their joy knew no bounds as it would not only ease the hardship being experienced on the road on daily basis but improve their socio – economic activities.

Another resident of the community, Mr Dauda Lateef who said the economic situation of Ibuji and Ifedore in general have improved tremendously following the intervention of governor Akeredolu on the road asked government to erect speed breakers on the road to check road carnage.

Also speaking, a community leader who doubles as the Egbedi of Igbaraoke, Chief Gabriel Fajemilusi described the road construction as unique project and unprecedented.

In the past, the deplorable 1.8 kilometers road stretching from Ibuji, Igbaraoke down to ondo Ekiti boundary have greatly affected the socio economic activities of the people of the area hence the need for quick intervention by governor Akeredolu’s administration.

But, the community can now heave a sign of relief as the long abandoned road has now reached 90 percent completion with Asphalt overlay.
