About Funaab

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun state or FUNAAB, (FUNAAB) was established on 1 January 1988 by the Federal Government when four universities of technology, earlier merged in 1984, were demerged. This led to the creation of the first two universities of agriculture in Abeokuta and Makurdi.

What is IJMB?

IJMB Means Interim Joint Matriculation Board. It is a programme Approved by the Nigeria University Commission (NUC) and a Proven Certified Advanced level programme moderated by Ahmadu Bello University with various coordinating body in different tertiary institutions and different study centres nationwide.

IJMB Admission Programme is specifically designed to provide an opportunity for candidates who cannot gain admission to regular degree programmes in Nigerian universities for one reason or the other, as the programme only requires candidates O’level results or awaiting result.

Requirements you need to gain admission into Funaab with IJMB
Candidates need to have their O’level Result( Awaiting Result is allowed at the point of Registration)
A non Refundable fee of #8,000 for Ijmb Registration.
A good Ijmb Result ( Minimum of 8 points)
Candidates need to pick up the Jamb D.E form along with The Direct entry form for Funaab
Candidates must have chosen the correct subject combination for their Preferred Course.
