A Human Right Activist group, Women Arise for Change Initiatives on Monday protested against the arrest and detention of wife of Ede Muslim Grammar School administration head, Mrs Raliat Oladipo and her nine months old baby by the Police at Zone XI Police command in Osogbo.

The protesters led by the president of Women Arise For Change Initiatives, Dr Joe Okei-Odumakin to Zone XI Police command described the detention of Raliat and her nine months old baby as barbaric and height of Injustice.

The protesters displayed placards with various inscriptions including “No to Police brutality” to Zone XI Police Command, Osun State Capital.”

Lamenting alleged Injustice meted out to Oladipo family, Odumakin said Nigeria Police is expected not to only protect properties of Nigerians alone, but also the sacred lives of the citizenry.

Okei-Odumakin urged the authorities of Zone XI Police command to release Mrs Raliat Oladipo and her baby so that they can seek medical attention, the detainee is a nursing mother.

Receiving the protesters, the Assistance Inspector General of Police (AIG) Zone XI Police Command, Mr Adeleye Oyebade said he was not aware of the arrest of the nursing mother, saying police detectives who effected their arrest came from Police Headquarter Abuja.

He explained that “Policing with fear of God is my watchword, as a police officer if you must arrest, arrest with fear of God.

Oyebade, however, assured that necessary action will be taken with immediate effect to ensure justice on the arrested nursing mother.

Good. He should simply go and present the pictures to the appeal court judges hearing his appeal case. Social media will not decide his case.

We’ll always identify with Senator Adeleke – Classmates

By Adesoji Adeniyi, Osogbo. May 1, 2019

Classmates of Senator Ademola Adeleke at the Muslim Grammar School, Ede in Osun State have paid him a solidarity visit.
They insisted he attended the school between 1976 and 1981.

At a press conference in Ede, Dr. Mukaila Olopade, who was a former Sports Prefect in the school, said as their mate they will always identify with Ademola Adeleke, whom he described as a good jolly fellow.

Accompanied by other mates, Mukaila Ayoola, Ajibola Nureni, Ademola Oyelakin and Dauda Okanlawon, he said: “Those of us, who attended Muslim Grammar School, Ede between 1976 and 1981, would readily attest to the good companionship and brotherly fraternity that we shared with the amiable Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke, who from childhood has shown leadership traits.

“Ademola’s time at the Muslim Grammar School, Ede together with us was years we shall proudly refer to as well spent in our formative years. We of the 1976/1981 set of which Ademola Adeleke was a part, could with all sense of responsibility and patriotic zeal affirmed that the distinguished senator gave a good account of himself as our classmate.

“Our 1976/1981 set, sat for the final West Africa School Certificate Examination and had our names, including Senator Ademola Adeleke’s recorded in its ledger as presented by an Assistant Registrar of the body (WAEC), when he was called upon by a Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja. What further proof is Senator Ademola Adeleke’s antagonists looking for to confirm his attendance and participation in the 1981 WASCE with the rest of us.”

According to him, all attempts by some people exhibiting hatred in their bikes to run down Ademola Adeleke is only an attempt to try God’s will and an effort in futility.

He disclosed that the senator was the President of “our Old Students Association for four years”, saying “this could not have been possible if he did not finish in the school and wrote the WASCE.

Weac confirmed his result as authentic before the election.
Apc government is just trying to use federal might to destroy democracy.
Power may change hands and this very set of leaders today will cry for the already destroyed democracy to protect them but no one will listen

Medicine after death! Who wants to be governed by a truant and misfit who has no credentials to parade other than orgy experience! Those who want Sen. Adeleke in office as Osun State Governor are folks in search of a pliable simpleton to manipulate in office for their selfish ends!! Great lesson for all. When his mates were studying in school to better their lot in life he was disco-dancing and playing truant! John Travolta danced for money but Sen. Nurudeen Adeleke danced for nothing! Now his black ship of the family label is on offer for laughter and his brother is desperately dumping billions of Naira to salvage the ship of a damaged political dynasty that also parades in David Adeleke a depraved son not to be proud of!!
Bill Gates dropped out of school to pursue a life passion he was sure to have a positive impact on how humanity lives. Gates succeeded. Truth is, Sen. Nurudeen Adeleke is at sea about life having played away his formative years! Now he wants to be Osun State Governor (and in that capacity Visitor to two Universities owned by the State!) presiding over the affairs of folks who took their lives seriously and studied hard at school to succeed in life while he was frivolous with his indulging in truancy. Granted, we all have our dark sides but it should not stop the typical human who is recovered from infamy from making an effort to comeback. He has remained a spoilt brat! What effort has Sen. Nurudeen Adeleke made to better his life like The Prodigal Son did when he came to himself? He sank further into the morass his wasted years represented when while seated in the Senate Chambers Abuja he fraudulently held out he was at a GCE Exam Centre in OSUN State writing GCE having employed a “mercenary” to do so! He is an unrepentant prodigal son! The Senate cctv Records for that day and the Hansard are available and indestructible to show that was where he was that day and so also his passport photograph as a registered candidate for GCE where his “mercenary” was apprehended by the DSS! A house built on quicksand will collapse no matter! He will do well to have a change of heart and come clean before it’s too late! More shame and doom await him where he continues to make believe!
