The 2019 general elections have come and gone but the outcome of the exercise has continued to trouble some desperate political gladiators who had envisaged victory for their parties, friends, allies or godfathers. These elements who had demonstrated false sense of popularity before the elections, and perhaps had prepared for appointments as well as political settlement of their various ongoing corruption cases are the ones still aggrieved; refusing to move forward and attempting to destabilize the country with their misguided utterances.

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode leads this category of deranged, desperate and frustrated category of politicians. Months preceding the elections, Fani-Kayode, bolstered by the false social media monetarily-induced statistics had warned that the PDP would 'Venezuela President Buhari' if he fails to relinquish power. Months after his party, the PDP failed to win the elections, he is calling on his party to learn the 'art of opposition' from Venezuela and Sudan.

Why is Fani-Kayode not referring his party to the United States this time? When the Government appears to have failed in the eyes of opposition or trample the rule of law they refer us to the US embassy and United Nations. In fact when good examples are being discussed, you hear countries like UK, Canada, US, China and so on being listed. Why is Fani-Kayode and his party preferring the Venezuelan and Sudanese version of opposition now.

In case Fani-Kayode has forgotten, these two examples of his are suffering deep political upheaval, culminating in the death of hundreds of lives, and destruction of livelihoods and properties worth billions of Dollars. Would Fani-Kayode bring his children to the street for protest? Would he also recommend that security operatives treat the protesters as they are being treated in Venezuela and Sudan?
It must be noted that the situation in the referenced countries are world apart. Buhari came into power in 2015 following a resonating victory that was even widely accepted by the opposition. In a bid to consolidate his gains, he lawfully sought for reelection, campaigned across the states, and was eventually declared winner of the poll.

Being a constitutional democracy, elements aggrieved with the outcome of the poll had since approached the court seeking to upturn the results. The process is ongoing unhindered. Why then should an individual seek unnecessary bloodbath or crisis?

Security agencies must as a matter of urgency monitor the activity of this desperate warlord in the making. People like this can easily be recruited by foreign hostile elements to further their heinous agenda in the country. No country survives a civil war twice. Post elections eras are usually for healings and Unity. The interest of the country must be put above all interests. It is heartwarming that the President is seeking an all inclusive Next level. Nigerians must beware of war mongers that would activate their visas after causing national insecurity.

i support the writer's last paragraph post-election periods are for healing and unity... We cannot afford to allow desperate politicians like Femi Fani-Kayode lead us down the wrong part. #TogetherWeStand.

I THOUGHT THAT THIS Femi Fani Kayode has stop sniffing that white powder, how on earth will somebody whom federal government is his benefactor will wish the country to be thrown into crises. Fani Kayode was one time a Minister when Obasanjo brought him from grass to grace (from taxi driver in a street of London to Minister in Nigeria) what a wicked soul. Okey, lets make it this way, let him and his immediate family lead the protest then we follow, otherwise Nigerian youth have wise up for an arrant politician to use us in championing his interest. go and fight your fight alone,, fool............

anyway, some desperate politicians are like bedbug that hardly survive outside its host. they are used to sucking from government so much that they cannot manage business again. i advise FFK to venture into any business that can fetch him money to survive instead of beating drum of war....

So you can drive a common Prado and live in Lagos? Big man!

But alas, ordinary FFK's wifey drives a Lexus jeep o; how come you just drive a common Prado? Or did you borrow it? Abeg, be careful on the road o, otherwise, just drive to Shagamu junction and back na. I suggest you ask your intended hosts in Ibadan to meet with you half-way - at the Shagamu junction.

If you're still not comfortable, please ask FFK to provide you with a means of passage to either Vuvuzela, sorry, Vevezuela or Southern Sudan, or both so you can learn on the ground how to play opposition politics correctly.

I'm very sure by the time you return to your fatherland, you would have multiplied by a factor of two. This sure is a better value proposition than the risk of you being divided by the same factor should you remain on ground here without that formal learning to function as a member of the opposition.

BTW, I hear FFK is soon on his way to Vz and SS, if not already? Na una, bikonu!

Yours truly is jealous of you o, I swear.

Good luck!

i wonder whether FFK knows the level of damage been done in both Venezuela and Sudan, the bloodsheds, displacement of people. its like when all things are beginning to take a good turn, he decides to yet again set his canon loose. FFK cant even do half of what he says. Fake preacher

I'm beginning to reason with FFK. We've tried all other options and they seem not to be working. One thing. Nigerians agree on is that the country needs change, unfortunately it hasn't come through peaceful means.

We need to rethink our approach and adopt something workable

If the government of the day is docile and comfortable the citizens must put them on d edge.

Youths must wake up and regain this country
