A Nigerian man was, yesterday, shot dead while 7 others were arrested when police raided an alleged online ‘love scam’ den in Imus, Cavite.

 United States federal grand jury in the district of Maryland has indicted nine Nigerians over allegations that they conspired to defraud elderly victims of millions of dollars.

A man has been sentenced to 30 years in jail for smuggling drugs with a street value of millions of pounds into London.

Adegboyega Adeniji, 48, of Sandmere Close, Hemel Hempstead, was caught at Heathrow Airport in April 2011.

He had two suitcases crammed with cocaine and heroin, the UK Border Agency said.
