The Ogun State Government has concluded plans to obtain N350 million loan from the World Bank, Igbere TV reports.

Governor of the state, Senator Ibikunle Amosun disclosed this when he received a delegation of the World Bank in government house, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

The loan, according to Amosun, would help create a system-driven environment for business, needed for better welfare of citizens and good governance.

He said his administration would do everything possible to secure the loan, saying the incoming administration already had the support needed to enhance good governance.

He urged the bank’s team to fast-track the process for its final approval.

Igbere TV reports that Amosun had, similarly, appointed over 1,000 workers into the state’s Civil Service and promoted 5,000 others barely a month to the end of his tenure.

He will hand over to Dapo Abiodun, the governor-elect, on May 29.

And we say they shudnt probe past leaders? If we don’t from sm point to begin probing out going leaders irrespective of party affiliation we wud remain a corrupt system, country and a shithole.

We should hv a default probing system for any outgoing leaders from presidents/governors to the least.

No problem.
The incoming government should be the one to access the loan if at all deemed necessary.
He shouldn't incurs any debt for the incoming administration.
With all the IGR and allocation, what us 350m?

Until this country is overhauled (restructured) we are going nowhere.

That stupid constitution needs to be dismantled.

annul bicameral legislation,

change recall process of legislators

,make corruption (corruption in all forms) a capital punishment

anyone who cannot account for his wealth, throw him into life imprisonment

make science & technology, economy, education, health and security mandatory for all officer holders

......and what l observed about this yahoo yahoo governors (Amosun and Ajimobi of Oyo state) is that the kept following buhari any where he travelled to, pretending like best friend to him.

When Buhari came to Lagos, they are first set of people to arrive, when he travelled to Maiduguri and other parts of the country, they made themselves available. They are doing these so that after May 29 handing over, EFCC will not disturb them,

What kind of useless situation are we finding ourselves in this country? Past governors that loot this country are working free as far as they cross to ruling party yet EFCC closed their eyes from people that milk us dry, they are arresting yahoo boys up and down.
