Arresting prominent opposition figures seem to be higher on the police and federal government's list than the major security issues in this country.

The reasons given for the usual political arrests are very flimsy. Earlier on it was Efcc opening or rather reopening cases against Saraki as he is about to leave office. Now it's Senator Adeleke's own case that is very obviously political. A case that has already been in court.

These actions set a bad precedent. When PDP was in power despite all their wrongdoings they did not go after opposition members like this .They didn't spew propaganda in this manner. This government has dictatorial tendencies.

They should however realise that no one holds power forever. I just hope a cycle of revenge would not be created.

Cry baby....

This is politics. If your hands are not clean then learn to manage you politics well else you will be hunted out.
Thats how its done even in the same western world pdp is crying to.

Arresting People who have committed criminal offence has always been the role of the government using the police. The fact that he is a member of the opposition party is irrelevant. your concern should be whether he committed the very offence or not.

And if you can leave politics out of this and think, you will recall that the police has been on the investigatoin of this matter for long now. And WAEC has equally told the court that the only exam this man registered to take was in the 80s, he attempted only English language which he made F9, so how he got the results he presented to INEC for the purpose of his election is what he needs to go and clarify.

Or are you saying that the police should leave him alone simply because he is a member of the opposition or as some of you do say, they have not finished arresting every other persons that committed the same offence. And tomorrow you turn again to complain that the country is bad and not moving forward, police is not doing their jobs etc.

Anyways, to answer your question, as for her, she narrowly dodged a bullet. But it's quite certain that her punishment is cooling its heels and awaiting her return.

Pity your brain is licking. APC is busy arresting and intimidating PDP prominent members, operating a dictatorial system of government, creating chaos through the fulani herdsmen, the list is endless. Nigeria is a jungle not a country. Get out when you can.

MKO ABIOLA'S CASE MUST NOT REPEAT ITSELF

Senator Ademola Adeleke must not died just like that of Aare Moshood Abiola. Recall that MKO Abiola was arrested, detained and died during the course of pursuing his obviously stolen Presidential mandate in 1991. Nothing must happen to the life of Senator Ademola Adeleke in the custody of the Nigerian Police, MKO Abiola's scenario must not repeat itself over Senator Ademola Adeleke inorder to hijack his stolen mandate.

Honestly, most of these police men joined the force with other people's results or were involved in an exams malpractice before having their ssce, now they're showing how political they are.

I'm beginning to ascertain the unfortunate handling of the winner of the recent gubernatorial election held in Osun state , senator Ademola Adeleke by the Nigerian government. Ademola Adeleke has been battling with trumped charges from the government of Nigeria ranging from certificate forgery to result manipulation. For the record, PMB has the same issues but no one is arresting him. The recent arrest of Ademola Adeleke is barbaric. It does look these people will kill this Adeleke just has they killed his brother. I keep wandering why they are after the life of this man. Apc is synonymous to evil. I pray the international communities will come to our aid and stay this madness from our government. Soon, Buhari will say he's not aware of this nefarious arrests and attacks.

A saying goes thus, "when person Mama dies, it looks lie nothing has happened, until you lose your mother"

We should continue celebrating dictatorship tendencies, until it knocks on our doors...

His is so far away from being a Buhari supporter...why not we support Nigeria, except unless we know that Nigeria is a scam already.

Each day, I look for something, no matter how little to believe in Nigeria...when a little thing comes up, a great set back shows and overshadows it...

I reiterate, I WEEP FOR NIGERIA...

Celebrate despondency today...you never know tomorrow...
