The militants invaded Molai in a military convoys method and attacked Molai at about 6:30pm, leaving eleven persons dead and many others injured,

A member of the Civilian Joint Task Force settled in Molai, reported that eleven people were killed together with four military personal, and buildings razed down during the attack last night at the outskirt of Maiduguri by Boko haram militants.
