President Muhammadu Buhari played host to Bola Tinubu, a national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), at the presidential villa in Abuja on Friday.

Both men smiled as they broke their fast together. This is one of the few times the duo would be seen together publicly since the February 23 presidential election.

Buhari was absent at the 11 Bola Tinubu Colloquium in Abuja in March while the APC national leader did not join the president when he inaugurated some projects in Lagos state in April.

Although, their aides have repeatedly dismissed reports of feud between them, the pictures below give the indication that the top politicians are still in touch.

First and foremost, you leave your state to pokenose into another man's state affairs. Yoruba are not complaining so you really need to mind your business and focus on how you will charge the state govt to develop your potopoto state.

Are you guys not ashamed of this primordial hate of Tinubu that has blinded you from seeing what is most important? Under Jagaban's guidance Lagos has become the fifth biggest economy in Africa with no other State seeing even remotely similar growth. Tinubu enriches himself but his specialist administrative, human management and political skills enriches Lagos even more to the extent the State is now like a separate Nation from Nigeria. This is not really different to how some company directors are paid millions of dollars yearly because they are the ones who possess the unique skill to help the company continue thriving and making profit. You Igbos are so petty and hateful you will begrudge Messi of his huge salary yet fail to note Barcelona would not be the biggest and richest club in the World without him.


If you guys were not so bigoted you will see that Tinubu is someone you should learn from rather than hate. Clever Yorubas know you hate Tinubu simply because you see him as the Yoruba Awolowo of the modern era and not because you are genuinely concerned about Lagos. The man has been, by far , a force for good than many others in a nation where most politician take a lot and give nothing back to the people.
