The current world record for an international is held by Archie Thompson, who scored 13 goals against American Samoa in Australia's 31–0 victory during the 2002 FIFA World Cup qualification. In the same match, David Zdrilic scored 8 goals.

The record for highest victory in a senior football competition was set on 31 October 2002 when the Malagasy club AS Adema beat SO l'Emyrne 149–0 in the national championship; however, SOE scored own goals intentionally throughout the match as a protest to a refereeing decision in a prior match

First of all, the match dates have been confirmed long before Ramadan started... Niger could have decide to pull out of the tournament if they wish...

Secondly Mali beat this same Niger team 13-0 yesterday.. Mali is predominantly Muslim..

Nigeria also beat Burkina Faso 5-1 yesterday.. Burkina Faso has a lot of Muslim players too .

And finally, sport events take place every time during Ramadan and those who participate in it must take measures to be fit unless they don't wish to participate at all

Like seriously?

If u are expecting a 15-0 win from a Denerby led-team, then u are on a long thing....it will come as a huge surprise to me if they can get 10 goals.

The team lacks direction...and to think they were only able to score 5 against a 10-woman Burkina Faso team is even worrying on it's own. Like i have always said, except some things changes in d next couple of weeks, both our male U20 team and d Super Falcons are going for sight-seeing at the World stage.\

9th min...2-0 already? I think Niger is in for a massacre tonight...but this team still lacks direction to me.

The team u condemned has proved u totally wrong. Learn to encourage and support what's yours. It'll help
