Nigeria Senate are presently under pressure to reject President Buhari's request to reappoint the present CBN Governor Mr. Godwin Emefiele, due to some opposition.

The forces against the reappointment of the CBN Governor accept the pressure on the Senate to confirm Emefiele's reappointment.

The Upper Legislative chamber will officially begin the process regarding his reappointment this week.

It was learnt that the nomination might be refer to the Senate committee on banking, insurance and financial institute.
