Though in Nigeria we tend to condemn similar case by ignorantly claiming it doesn't happen in civilised climes, however, the one we mostly condemn is when old adult marry minor in Nigeria.

Atleast this report have clarified United State is not exactly what we think it is.

One funny thing I've disillusioned myself about is that most of the things happening in Naija, actually happen abroad also, just on a lower key with some form of legal backings with it...

Maybe you also should check the marriages in northern Nigeria. 99% of the time the marriages of young girls to older men is through their (the young girls) mutual and parental consent.
