yes oo, Dr Fayemi is a thorough breed professional and an excellent administrator who would upturn all of Fayose's mediocre policies and appointment for the good of the state

In Developed Countries , Civil service is meant for well educated and highly skilled individuals who got employed based on merit, In Nigeria civil service is a mediocre poverty eleviation scheme for citizens to earn unmerited salaries drawn from Niger Delta Oil Revenue.

We have state ministry of works that cant construct a road even with all their engineers on payroll, we still rely on chinese contractors,
Ministry of Water Resources workers earn monthly salary, yrt no municipality potable water, everyone dig well or borehole

I laugh at the idiots, who turn themselves to stupid blind supporters and advocates of politicians. Idiots will be commenting on things they don't even know a thing about and they will think they are wise. Chai! Looks like some people are born stupid. It runs in their blood. What do you think, Mr.

Very right. It has always been Fayose transforming Ekiti than any gov in that state.

But problem is that when you are not properly educated and people know this and you now praise your lack of proper education with too much talks even when you are supposed to keep shut, one tends to face what Fayose faced. He didn't try to earn respect but he was forcing it.
Wen d issue of fayose is discussed peopl always rush to say not well educated. I really cant tell wat they mean by d statement. Is it that HND qualification is a second class literacy or dos who hav it are not educated. I dont get it. Because even some peopl who can boast of a ND cert still rule us as gov or pres and peopl dont talk about it but dey rushed to condmne a HND holder who served dis country but engages in unionism to keep himself going wen d job isnt coming as illiterate or half baked. I dont get it.

Were you not in this country? He never had HND... According to the report then, he got admitted for HND but never attended... I am not against his unionism neither am I against his person. I actually see him better than some of the doctorate degree holders in politics but his style of unionism was lousy and overbearing. Yes he's a leader, he's a leader and forever remain a leader.

DeLinguaMan:
Governor Fayemi Kayode of Ekiti State has relieved over 2,000 workers in the state of their duties.

Igbere TV gathered that the affected workers are those ‘hurriedly appointed’ by the immediate past governor, Peter Ayodele Fayose.

Igbere TV recalls that Fayose had announced their appointment after the July 2018 governoship election in the state.

The decision, according to a statement made available by Igbere TV by the Ekiti State government, followed deliberations by the State Exective Council (SEC) on the report of the committee headed by the Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, that reviewed irregular appointments made between 2014 and 2018.

The government said the recruitment exercise violated due process.

Igbere TV gathered that the affected 2,000 workers comprises 600 teachers recruited into the Teaching Service Commission (TSC), 400 personnel employed into the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and 1,000 injected into the system through the Office of Establishment and Training, among others.

Briefing journalists on the development in Ado on Thursday, the Commissioner for Information, Tourism and Values Orientation, Muyiwa Olumilua declared the appointments as null and void, adding that they were hurriedly done with ulterior motives and in bad faith.

The Commissioner disclosed that the governor had directed the Head of Service, Ayodeji Ajayi, to collate all available vacancies in the Civil Service, with a view to recruiting suitable and qualified Ekiti citizens into the Public Service, irrespective of religious and political affinities.

Olumilua, however, urged the affected workers to participate in the next recruitment excercise to be announced in due course.
