This drone shot has done more harm to the skyline of edo state than the Op intended..

There is nothing to celebrate or appreciate from the photos shown. The work done on that were substandard. The concrete works have started to depreciate and they look so irregular, evidence of bad workmanship. Look at the Yellow Box Junction Road Marking. It has started to erase.

And before you jump to devour me with mentions, I live in Edo state...and to be honest it's just a glorified village

The waste disposal management is poor
The human empowerment is nothing to write about
Cultism is the in thing for our young boys here...sometimes I even thank God for Yahoo...atleast some of the young miscreants have shifted from tormenting people all in the name of cultism to now be engaged in internet fraud

And another low is the light situation...when there's a rain, no matter how small forget light for 3 days and 3 nights at the minimal

hey, u just point out problems that are also very noticeable in many other states in Nigeria. So your point is invalid

Same Edo state that is looking like an overgrown village. Don't be deceived, visit the state and you'll find out that most of these pictures were taken immediately after construction and doesn't represent it's current state. At least one thing I'm glad about is that they didn't post pictures of ring road this time, because it seems like it's the government's greatest achievement.

It's actually a village. No roads, very dirty. Edo state is nothing to write home about.

You finish Edo, which part you dey stay? I'm in new Benin, my major challenge is the parking of cars and market women shading their wares on the road. you nor go see somewhere pass, those bus drivers na another one

This is just one junction and you need to see how these roads were few years ago.

Oliha,Ehaekpen,Siluko,Ekewan,T.V rd are more or less old Benin. Most houses there are Igiogbe's and its automatically willed to the first Son, no one dares renovate it,if that first son is not well to do expect that house to remain the same for another 50yrs.
We all saw what Daisy Ehanire did to their family house that was sold, she bought it and turned into a beauty along Akpakpava.

Most family members are ready to do same to these houses with corrugated brown roof but the Omodion factor is affecting development in the ancient city

As for the roads I keep saying Edo State is very unlucky with good leaders, just the way the governors faces are ugly that's how they want to Edo State to remain and only a handsome or beautiful governor will make Edo State look beautiful.

All the same I love my state for the peace and tranquility that's abounds. Benin city is calm and peaceful and it's a lovely place if you want to enjoy.

these are ancient districts,.. the newer areas like gra,ugbor,sapele road,iriri,uteh etc na eldorado.. Even at that,roads ,drainages and road network for benin na dye
