MTN has just introduced a new data plan for all the MTN BetaTalk subscribers. This data plan is too small, quite alright, but I still don’t know why MTN decided to launch this plan.

MTN BetaTalk is a prepaid tariff plan that rewards you with 150% airtime bonus on every recharge below N100 and 250% airtime bonus on recharges from N100 and above. You also enjoy 30MB data for N50 on BetaTalk.

MTN took to their social media page to announce this plan, but users weren’t happy about this. Some people were asking what they would do with 30MB data. Some even went further to ask if they are still using Java/Symbian phone.

Be that as it may, there are some few users who will still subscribe to the plan. The data might be small but a life saver for a quicky internet browsing and chatting with friends.

This plan is exclusively for the BetaTalk users. You have to be on BetaTalk tariff plan in order to subscribe for this plan.

>Now Text BT to 131 to subscribe for 30MB with 50 Naira
>SMS 2 to 131 to check your balance
>Data is valid for 24hrs
