A man who narrowly escaped death after ramming into a fence while being chased by some SARS operatives, has been made to rebuild the fence.

The incident happened, yesterday, along the Awoyaya- Gbetu new Rd axis of the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos.

It was gathered that upon crashing into the fence, the injured driver was abandoned by his chasers, who reversed immediately, and fled.

However, the victim’s car was seized by the house owner and he was forced to rebuild the fence before the car was released to him.

see brotherly the sharpest way to escape police/sars wahala if u no dey carry exhibit is to have a clean appearance. I know we have d freedom to dress the way we like and do our hair d way we want but if ur beards is rough looking with tatooes all over ur body and rough hair dem go wahala u but then even if dem wahala u but dem no see exhibit on u they will be forced to let u go. For me though having a clean appearance is one way to avoid their contact.

Bros, you don't need to exhibit your stupidity in public all in the name of writing comment.

It costs, at most, 5% to do a comprehensive insurance. If the car cost N2million, the man would pay N100K as premium.

Take a closer look at that fence and the damaged car, the fence alone will gulp 100K wile the car, if not written off due to damaged engine, would gulp at least double of that (i.e. 200K). If he had insurance, he wouldn't worry about any payment as the insurance company would bare the expenses for the fence and the car (safe whatever excess is negotiated).
