Some of many patients with ulcer are not aware of it. This makes successful dealing with the condition during fasting period harder to achieve since it's almost impossible to solve an unknown problem. Ulcer comes with various symptoms like chest and upper back pains, peppery and burning sensation in the chest or stomach, stomach and upper abdominal pains, nausea and vomiting, among others.

When there is no fasting, mere eating can calm the burning effect of ulcer. However, during fasting period like Ramadan it's very challenging for Muslims with ulcer to fulfill their spiritual duty without agravating their ulcer problem.
