You should wait out the guests answer to your question before asking another.

A barrage of questions is meant to confuse or unsettle the guest.
Nothing more.

BBC hosts are very well guilty of this.

An unsettled guest will fumble when lying and stick to the truth when honest.
A skilled politician even a dishonest one will stick to facts to settle his conscience while evading deep probes from the journalist.
There's sometimes the case of the program rushing to keep to the allocated time but that happens with not so serious personalities as opposed to political figures and events.

Here is the moment a ploitician was seen fighting a TV presenter for questioning him too nuch about his political party.

The man could not contend with the question anymore because the TV presenter was just asking him question upon question.

The politician stood up to pick a fight when the lady ask him "Do you care about the starving million of African people in this country, Do you care about the farm workers who are being oppressed here in this country.

He said to the lady "don't you there interrupt me" when the black man who is also a presenter in the studio try to stop him from picking a fight to the lady he focuses the black mam and both of them start fighting.

Oga people are different.

I have seen a video where this naija was feeling nervous when police arrest him for drug trafficking and were interrogating him,he told them there is no drug on him ,they didn't believe him because he was nervous.

They had to scan him before they could believe him, people are different and react to things differently.
Some people have a limit to what they can take.

Yes people are different but a lot of humans react the same way to a certain stimulus.
