It's a well known fact how politicians vilify and criticise the person in power to sound politically correct and be in opinion with the mainstream and popular opinion. We in Nigeria are experiencing same thing with APC and her Change. Far away in the U.S., presumably the mother of democracy, this trick is same. President Trump criticized most of President Obama foreign policies but Americans aren't having any of it as they came to remind him that the internet never forgets. His tweet warning Iran of decimation was met ferociously with reminders. See below
