I was going through national dailies this morning and was flabbergasted by the contradicting topic posted by nairaland, stating that Nigeria’s GDP has yielded Up By 2.01% In Q1, 2019 quoting NBS.

However, as I got to my office, i switched on to Arise TV and discovered the misleading topic posted by nairaland, which could give falsehood to intending investor that have been convinced by the upward growth in Nigeria GDP. We should'nt politicize economic situation in Nigeria.
I sincerely appeal to the moderator to carefully scrutinize any topic before pushing it to the front page.
Thanks.

Nigeria's GDP Gree by 2.01% true.

But in the court quarter of 2018, the growth rate was 2.4%

Meaning our growth rate shrunk to 2.01 does not mean the GDP shrunk by 2.01%

Do you get the difference between reduced growth rate and growth now?
