Ondo State University of science and technology and and Adekunle Ajasin university has been on strike for the past few weeks now concerning the increase in tuition fee. Today, the two schools decided to embark on a peaceful protest to the Governor's office at Akure. As reported by an eye witness "The protest was peaceful untill 11:45am, the governor of ondo State ordered the CP to tear gas and fire us with gunshot. We are here been arrested and harassed by the NPF and some of our colleagues are in the State CID custody. We are seeking for the support of all stake holders in the country to come to our aid and call the tyrant governor to an order because we will remain unitimidated and gallant to face anything and we remain in Akure until the reduction is been pronounced and been effective " Aluta continua Victoria Ascerta Amagla Awetu Seun Mynd44 Lalasticalala Abeg for God sake help us to front page.

Great Nigeria student. With sadness nd grievance i write this. I was at Akure today live to monitor nd support my pple . The protest was peaceful till 11:45a.m The Nigeria police force nd Mopol decided to spray us with *tear gas and start the shooting of guns in the air* We all ran for our lives. But with great surprise, after all medials like BREEZE FM ADABA OSRC TVC NEWS CHANNELS etc Reported a peaceful protest in various stations, The governor of Ondo state order d clear out as promised. Despite abiding by d law nd running for our lives, thr security men enter into the street of Akure and started arresting us. Ife nd 1 other 200level guy was was arrested. Fizzy Jay nd one other guy(name unknown) was arrested. On this note i am saying the Governor of Ondo state is not a father, The Governor of Ondo state has order the clearing out of the future of our country. Pls lets pray for the already arrested students nd d soon to be arrested others. The media is our evidence that it was a peaceful protest. Save us. ©Seth. O. (live withness of d event).
