A gang of watch thieves grabbed one of the world’s rarest watches worth £700,000 in a series of 'targeted' raids, a court heard. I guess the price is high due to the components,especially the sapphire and titanium used to build it!! So its a luxury wristwatch (for the guys screaming up there at the price) Besides all that,they pioneered the laminated sapphire and Quartz tourbillion technique with their speciated movements. Really advanced technologically and won some awards!! So components, tech and rarity all made the RM tourbillion watch very very costly! |
