Vice President Biden’s motorcade was involved in an accident Sunday afternoon in Vancouver, where he has been over the weekend as the leader of the U.S. delegation at the winter Olympics.

Two members of the U.S. delegation – Peggy Flemming, the gold medal-winning ice skater, and Vonetta Flowers, a gold medalist in women’s bobsledding – were taken to a local hospital as a precaution, according to a statement from Biden spokesman Jay Carney.

“They were both evaluated and have since been released,” he said. “Neither the Vice President nor anyone else in his party was involved in the incident."

The incident marks the fourth time Biden’s security detail has been involved in an accident. The other three took place in November. A car in Biden’s motorcade hit a sheriff’s deputy in New Mexico. The vice president’s advance security detail hit a cab in New York City. And while he was not in it, a vehicle in Biden’s motorcade killed a pedestrian in Maryland. Temple Hills, MD.

Biden’s motorcade was from heading from the residence of the US counsul general to the arena where the women’s hockey game against China was taking place, Carney said. On Thursday, part of the Joe Biden motorcade had a minor accident while in New York. According to reports, the Vice President's vehicle was not part of the crash, so VP Biden is reported to be uninjured.

Reportedly, the crash involved two New York City police motorcycles. The police escorts were escorting Vice President Biden over to Kennedy Airport. Earlier in the day, Joe Biden had a meeting with Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg. According to the New York Times, none of the officers involved in the Biden motorcade accident were hurt.

There had been another motorcade crash just last year involving Biden's police escorts. During that November crash, the Vice President was on his way to Jon Stewart's 'The Daily Show' when one of the police cars ahead of Biden's motorcade crashed into a livery cab. The accident was also a minor one.

It seems like it was protocol for media to report the minor crash just so nobody would be alarmed about the Vice President. Last thing needed is someone seeing the motorcade accident and TMZ reporting Joe Biden was in an accident. It's a good thing nobody was harmed in Thursday's accident.

president's car is just normal, when it is not normal in even America with all their human rights respect. They seem not to understand the sentence, "Ramming" a car into another car. Except the story posted is different from what actually happened or fabricated, that taxi driver committed a crime.
