Good morning,
I am having issues with my camry 07 transmission. Three days ago the Shaft and cup was replaced

After the replace ment was done the gear started slipping and at a point stopped moving and when I put it on reverse it makes a loud noise but reverse works.

Scanned the car and it showed P0776 code.

Plz advice or gear specialist is needed.
@gazzuzz
@kashif

You didn't mention what the issue was before you replaced the shaft and cup.

calabardick:

I saw someone did this 6 years ago with Honda city.
A friend of mine took his Honda city for servicing, the mechanic fill the transmission with forte oil visco 2000, to me it was crazy but to my surprise he has been driving that car for years now with same visco oil as transmission oil.

I don't think I have the liver to use such.
can I use it on my sienna 2000 model

I once had a similar experience, a lots of those mechanics are scammers. One said l need to do scanning with 10k then work on the gearbox which will cost me 35k. And he said no guarantee. To cut the long story short, it was a mechanic in oyinbo (maxwell) who said that problem was gear switch. He did it for just 5k. 3 years after its still in perfect condition.
please drop his number.

@OP, your problem is most likely electrical. Don't waste your money on gear replacement yet
Hi boss, can we link up? I’m having issues with my 08’ Camry gear. I had it inspected, I was told 1 or 2 switch on the valve body wasn’t responding. That I have to buy a new 13 pin gearbox.
Do you mind helping? Let’s see what can be done?
