Buhari Asset Declaration Is A Farce, Say Kalu. What’s In It? by NAPC1(m): 7:30pm On May 28, 2019
PRESS STATEMENT: 28/5/2019

The director General of Atikulated Agenda Worldwide and one time Gubernatorial Aspirant in Abia State under APGA; Chief Emeka Kalu has lampooned the President Mohammedu Buhari over the claim that he has declared his asset through the CCB for accepting to fill a form. He says that this is a process we passed in 2014 and up-to-date we don’t have any idea of what he declared.

Chief Kalu in a Press Statement issued through his Media and Publicity Aide, Comr. Amos Kalu (AFK), said that Nigeria has come of age that our intelligence should not be played with, questioning how possible it is that you will declare an asset and the public will have no idea of what you declared, making it a one man show.

Recalling, he took us back to memory lane when after the so-called asset declaration nothing was heard till when it was political advantageous for them after he had acquired more wealth that will be captured in whatever document they doctored.

“For instance, in September 2015, Garba Shehu, presidential spokesman, released a statement saying the president had less than N30 million to his name before he took office on May 29, 2015. This was a man that name claimed to have borrowed money to by Presidential Ticket in 2014”. What a magic.

According to the statement, Buhari owned five houses in Kaduna, Daura, Kano and Abuja, and has two undeveloped plots of land, one in Kano and the other in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. He added that Buhari had farms, an orchard, ranch, livestock including 270 cattle, 25 sheep, five horses, a variety of birds and a number of economic trees.

Shehu also said the president had “one bank account with the Union Bank, no foreign account, no factory, no enterprises, and no oil wells” and two of his houses in Daura are “mud-made”.

“He borrowed money from the old Barclays Bank to build two of his homes,” he had said.

“The documents also showed that the retired general uses a number of cars, two of which he bought from his savings and the others supplied to him by the federal government in his capacity as a former Head of State. The rest were donated to him by well-wishers after his jeep was damaged in a Boko Haram bomb attack on his convoy in July 2014.”

“My question is this: what is his assets stand now, why will it remain secret to Nigerians when FIB gives us right to know? The question is unending, but no answer to them”. He said.

We know how Buhari is fighting “His” Corruption. But they should stop playing with intelligence of Nigerians.
