I am planning to start a Lending Business in Nigeria. My intention for the company is to provide small loans to individuals (not businesses) which will be redeemable on a 30-day month basis for a very reasonable interest charge. I know that a lot of businesses and individuals are engaged in this sort of business, however I would like to find out if this business is regulated in Nigeria. If it is, does anyone know which government (or otherwise) body that regulates this kind of business? Your responses are more than welcome. Thanks. |

i would suggest you checkout the CBN website. there should be some information there. |
