This time it's Prophet Joshua Iginla – Founder of the Champions Royal Assembly church, Abuja – that made our headlines as he just acquired a super expensive luxurious private jet worth billions of naira.

This new acquisition by the prophet is interestingly coming just a few weeks after Apostle Johnson Suleiman – General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries – got the delivery of his new Hawker BAe 125-800 private jet which was reportedly worth around ₦394.2 million - ₦1 billion.

The prophet in a statement claimed to have "added the new wonder on air to ease the missionary work as a prophet with global impact."

The church has also tried justifying his move by claiming that;

"Acquiring a private jet is not a luxury but borne out of necessity. Arguably, Nigerian prophets are among the most sought out globally.

"Most times, they are needed in two or three countries in different continents in a day. Hence, there is a need to create a very easy means of transportation for them, coupled with the fact that our transportation industry is still way behind Compare to other developed countries and that is why we see men of God purchasing private jets, not to show off but to make movement easy for them for evangelical and missionary purposes."

But the public cannot shy away from the fact that this move is coming amidst a current widely publicized 13 years marriage divorce with the prophet’s wife, Yemisi which the prophet himself announced publicly that the divorce is due to “infidelity on both sides”.

What's more, Joshua Iginla is not the first pastor to buy a multi-billion naira private jet. Before him, several men of God have already got $30 million jet to serve their missions such as Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Apostle Johnson Suleiman and Ayo Oritsejafor - Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church.
