...calls for total overhaul of security apparatus

The Deputy National Coordinator, North and Diaspora, Amb Hussaini Coomassie has congratulated President elect, President Muhammad Buhari for the peaceful and successful swearing-in for his second term in office.

Amb. Coomassie who is also the Regional Director for west Africa, Association for Good Governance Network made this known at his residence in Abuja on Wednesday 29th May, 2019.

He advised the President to concentrate more on Security and also overhaul and flushout the bad fruits from the Military and the Police, and if possible replace all the service chiefs including the NSA as soon as possible.

He commended the IGP and his management team for the massive crack down on criminals, especially kidnappers, armed robbery and bandits.

Coomassie also urged the IGP to review his earlier announcement on IRT & SARS leaderships.
" There should be changes in those departments of the police force, most of the officers there are so comfortable and relaxed, thereby frustrating any transfer that will come their way. The IGP should please give priority to the newly created "Operation Puff Adder"unit," he advised.
